  • Notes

    This fish belongs to the pacific ocean and is often used in private aquariums. This individual was observed in the Mediterranean sea, south of Barcelona, together with Serranus scriba and Epinephelus caninus. It was probably released by an aquarist. Aquarium trade is a growing problem as a way for introduced species around the world. Weitzmann, B., Mercader, L., & Azzurro, E. (2015).
