Species Leptogorgia sarmentosa (Orange Gorgonian)

The Orange Gorgonian Leptogorgia sarmentosa is usually an orange colour it can also be white, yellow, red or purple. The tree is sometimes in one plane, but often in all directions. The branches are numorous and very thin. They have a straight appearance but are often drooping, downward. Polyps, very small, are arranged all around the branch.
