Notes
Oslob, Cebu Island, Philippines. Local fishermen observed that very early in the morning, after returning from fishing, and throwing shrimp left over from their fishing bait, a variable number of Whale Sharks came to eat what they threw into the water. An observation business has been organized based on this fact, which is repeated daily at the same time for years. They take the observers to snorkel among the group of Whale Sharks, with a previous meeting in which the observers are warned that rules must be followed so as not to disturb the animals.
